Mini Session Recap {Athens, GA Family Photographer}

Oo-eee, I'm terrible about sharing work! Other than the little tastes via Facebook, which just doesn't quite hit the mark. So here are some highlights from this summer's glorious little Mini Sessions. It's gearing up to be time for photographing all you cuties for holiday missives - and I can't wait!

Sister, sister... {Athens, Georgia Newborn Photographer}

I got to photograph a new little lady and her big sister the other day. Her parents might have joined in too ;) This newborn session included a beloved quilt made by little M's great grandmother, the teeniest little toes, the highest toddler toss by a daddy I've ever witnessed, and lots of sweetness and snuggles.

I love Athens, and how it feels big enough to hold so much goodness, and small enough for so many of us to be connected. This family found me through word of mouth - and I'm so glad they did. Here's to my beautiful clients, new and old.  And the sparkling future ahead of this growing family.

Documenting a life... {Athens, Georgia Family Photographer}

Is the very best stuff. This baby boy and I go way back - to where he was curled round in his Mama's belly, to the day he was born when I captured his breathtaking arrival in images, to his newborn session where he alternated between deep sleep and wide-eyed blinking, to his ripe old age now of 3 months old.

What a lucky world we are to have him in it:

Same old song... {Athens, Georgia Birth Photographer}

I haven't been blogging. I know, this isn't shocking. But I look at this poor neglected thing and feel terrible every time I do, so you have my apologies.

What has been going on at EGP?

Well, all sorts of beautiful. This spring has been my busiest yet, and I've loved it! After a sort of insane April, May has been much quieter with birth clients, which require me to clear the deck of other sessions. I witnessed a beautiful baby boy make his way earthside with his Mama's hard work a couple weeks ago, and I may be able to share some of those images in the future.

My children will be off school for the summer very soon, and every year of mothering requires me to learn a few more juggling skills. This year is no exception. I can't wait for lazy days with nothing on the agenda but swimming, and I simultaneously live in fear of sisters bickering. Oh my.

Please come see me on Instagram if you are on there yourself, and say hi! Facebook doesn't play well anymore, and so I've largely shifted my sharing of work to Instagram. You can find me here: www.instagram.com/earlygirl_photography

Okay, in the interest of leaving you with something nice to look at, here are a couple images from a fun experiment with my eldest daughter and in-camera double exposure.
